Travel Nursing
Travel nursing is very popular among nurses around the world, including the United States and Canada and Australia and New Zealand. And of course those nurses are welcomed with open arms in England, Great Britain, Ireland and the rest of the United Kingdom. But when and where did the travel nurse industry begin? It began in the United States, in Florida to be exact. And Leslie Giltz, the head of London based Continental Travel Nurse, was there. In Florida, the winter season would bring a wave of elderly people, and local hospitals found they needed a seasonal influx of trained RNs, nurses who would work for three to six months. Highly trained nurses in the United States soon discovered they could spend three or six months working in sunny Florida doing what they loved and get well-paid for it.
Hospitals were so desperate for highly skilled RNs, they provided subsidized and ultimately free housing to these valuable skilled workers. And thus the travel nurse industry was born, an industry that has spread around the globe but finds its most popular destinations to be in England, Great Britain and Ireland, where English speaking nurses from around the globe can use their in-demand skills as nurses but find all of Europe, such as France and Italy and Spain is just a quick train or plane ride away. With the worldwide shortage of nurses, RNs ready and willing to do the high demand job of nursing, there is now a permanent demand for nurses throughout the Western world. Any skilled RN can write his or her ticket and sign a three month contract to work in wonderful cities anywhere in the world.
Continental Travel Nurse, the London based company with skilled executives who were working in the industry when it was born in Florida are ready to help the top notch nurses from the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand come to the United Kingdom. You fly into London or directly to the city where you're going to work on a short term contract as a respected and well-paid RN. Then Continental Travel Nurse shows you how so much of the UK and Europe is just a short train ride or airline flight away. Weekend getaways to Paris and Rome are very achievable. You can also savour the city you are based in during your three month contract, renew for another three months, build up a kitty of money and then take off on a three month or longer excursion around Europe. When it's time to top off your bank account (that's Euro-slang for putting in more money), you can go back to work for another three month or if you prefer six month stint either in the city you fell in love with or somewhere else.
Nurses are always in demand and the London based Continental Travel Nurse is always there to accommodate your schedule and place you in the desirable location you want. And when you and your RN friends are ready to go travelling again to another part of Europe, Continental Travel Nurse will always be a phone call away when you're ready to offer your valuable skills to another hospital. And you might just fall in love with a city or town for good. The RNs who work with Continental Travel Nurse are always of the highest quality and so you'll invariably be asked by the hospital you're working at if you would please consider coming on staff full time. The choice is yours and they'll always be thrilled to have you sign up or another three month contract.
